About the Ride
In 2008, the Club sponsored the first "Signature Ride" to promote cycling and helping to promote non-profit organizations in the community. This project was historical; it represented the first ever event in which a predominantly black cycling club accomplished such an event. This year's designated Charity for the 2021 Signature ride is House of Bread. House of Bread, a non profit Dayton community kitchen providing hot nutritious meals daily.

(I wanted to have a route where you had to go up Linden hill but was vetoed. FYI we go right by it... Lol). C group will be mostly on the trail for an enjoyable recovery ride.

What is the Major Taylor Dayton Signature Ride?A four route tour (17, 40, metric-century and century) and a 5-10 mile family fun ride. The routes are open to all ages (though those under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult AND a parent or guardian is required to accompany all participants 12 years or under on the family ride).

What is the age requirement?All MTCCD Signature Ride participants must be at least 18 year old as of July 10th, 2021. A parent or guardian is required to accompany all participants 12 years of age and under on the family ride.

What is the cost of the ride?Early registration is $35* and ends July 2nd. After July 2nd, registration is $40*. The family ride is $5*. *Additional merchant processing fees may apply.

What forms of payments are accepted?Pay by most major credit/debit* cars online through Active.com registration. Day of registration payments are cash, checks, major credit/debit cards*, PayPal* and Venmo*. *Additional merchant processing fees may apply.
